Town Planner is a community-based, full-size, wall-hung advertising calendar that is mailed FREE to homes in Chandler, Sun Lakes, Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, & North Scottsdale annually. It provides businesses an affordable opportunity to sponsor advertisements to convey their message to homeowners 365 days a year. This year we will prepare and produce a 2013 calendar that will be mailed to appr

oximately 55,000 homes in Chandler, AZ and a NEW option to advertise directly to 6,000 Chandler businesses. Town Planner provides unique and affordable marketing options for locally owned and operated businesses by reaching people within a local radius. Direct-mailed in December, this in-home, wall hanging calendar is a local favorite. While residents will love receiving this event and information packed calendar for free, it is the only vehicle that reaches and stays visible in the homes 365 days a year. Most advertising options are too pricey for small businesses and include far too much waste.

Coupons are important! Coupons are still VERY popular - J.C. Penney already tested their theory that women were sick of coupons. A 10% drop in foot traffic and $163 million loss in 90 days showed just HOW popular coupons actually are.

Great article Dan! When considering direct mail to Chandler residents, consider the Calendar. Instead of the USPS's new Every Door Direct Mail campaign that will cost nearly 20cents per piece, your ad can be on the Calendar for 1-2cents each and a calendar ad can be seen for 30 days!
