WE PUSHED THEM AWAY. 😬

We told kids for YEARS that the trades weren't good enough. Then the ones who actually showed up got thrown into a l**e bay, told to hurry up, given little training and sometimes nobody to mentor them.
Then we act shocked when they leave.

Katie and I talked about mentorship, training, shop culture, women in automotive and what BOTH shop owners and young technicians need to do better.
