This week in West Virginia professional wrestling.

All Star Wrestling WV has two shows this week.

First on Wednesday, June 10, ASW will be at the Magnolia Fair Festival in Matewan, WV for a "Wednesday Night Main Event". Meet-and-greet is at 7pm and bell time is 8pm. This is a free event with fair admission.

Then on Saturday, June 13, ASW presents "The Bash in Beckley 6" at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center in Beckley, WV. Meet-and-greet is at 4pm and bell time is 7pm. Also this week.

On Friday, June 12, Pro Wrestling Conquest will hold "Lightning In A Bottle" at the Quantum Sports Center in Kanawha City of Charleston, WV. Bell time is 7:30pm, front row is $25, adults tickets are $20, and it's $5 for kids 12 and under.

These next six are on Saturday, June 13.

Monarch Elite Grappling Association will be at the Dunbar Recreation Center in Dunbar, WV. Bell time is 7:30pm, ringside is $20, and general admission is $15. There are also family four-pack bundles: a general admission bundle is $40 while a ringside bundle is $60 and it's $10 for each additional person.

Mountain State Wrestling Federation will be in Browntown, WV for "The Brawl in Browntown" at the Browntown Community Center. Bell time is 7pm and tickets are $10 while it's free for kids 10 and under.

Real Shoot Wrestling (RSW) will be at The Event Center at Brushy Fork in Buckhannon, WV, presenting "Symphony of Destruction". Bell time is 7pm, ringside is $15, and general admission is $10.

The balance of power has shifted as Topnotch Wrestling Alliance will hold "Power Surge" at the New Haven Community Center in New Haven, WV. Bell time is 6pm, general admission is $10, it's $7 for kids 6–12, and free for kids 5 and under.

West Virginia Wrestling Federation will be at the Richardson Building in Parkersburg, WV, presenting "Pride Driver". Bell time is 7pm and tickets are $10 while it's free for kids 5 and under.

World Domination Wrestling Alliance presents "Broken Barriers", an all-women's show at the South Berkeley Fire Hall in Inwood, WV. Bell time is 6:15pm, first row is $25, and general admission is $20.

Also, a shout out to American Pro Wrestling, which primarily does shows here in West Virginia, as on Friday, they will be doing an event in Richlands, VA. This week in West Virginia professional wrestling.

On Thursday, June 4, Appalachian Championship Wrestling will be at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Cross Lanes, WV, presenting "School's Out". Meet-and-greet is at 6:30pm and bell time is 7:30pm. This is a free event but please bring your own chair.

On Friday, June 5, Premier Wrestling League-Mid Atlantic will be at the Cole Chevy Mountain Festival in Bluefield, WV. Bell time for this free show is 6:30pm.

On Saturday, June 6, Showtime Championship Wrestling Alliance will be at the Triadelphia Town Hall in Triadelphia, WV for "Purgatory". Bell time is 7pm and advanced tickets are $10 while it's $12 at the door.

Also on Saturday, Superior Pro Wrestling Training Center HOUSE of PAIN, which is a wrestling school based out of western Maryland, will be at the Charles Town American Legion in Charles Town, WV, presenting "Superior Warfare". Bell time is 7pm and tickets are $10 but is cash only and is first come, first served.

Former WWE stars Big Damo (fka Killian Dain) and Nikki Storm (Nikki Cross) are taking ownership of PROGRESS Wrestling and DEFY Wrestling!

Per PROGRESS:

This week in West Virginia professional wrestling.

Micro Wrestling Federation has two shows in West Virginia this weekend. They will first be in Ranson at the Ranson Civic Center on Friday, May 22. Then the following night on Saturday, May 23, they will be in Beckley at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center. Both nights are all-ages shows and have a bell time of 7pm with tickets starting at $24.99.

For Friday, May 22:

American Pro Wrestling returns to the Fayette Memorial Building in Fayetteville, WV. Bell time is 7:30pm, advance tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for ages 6–12, while it's $15 and $10, respectively, at the door. You can also catch APW every Sunday at the Mountain State Sportatorium in Beckley, WV at 3:30pm.

Appalachian Championship Wrestling will hold "Nothing Else Matters", the 6th Annual Spyder Crowley Memorial Show. This free event will begin at 7pm at the Gauley Bridge Town Hall in Gauley Bridge, WV.

For Saturday, May 23:

PowerSlam Pro will be at Christ Temple Church's Health & Life Center in Huntington, WV, presenting "Through the Fire". Bell time is 7pm, ringside is $20, and general admission is $10.

Topnotch Wrestling Alliance will be at WVU Parkersburg in Parkersburg, WV, partnering with the Salvation Army for "Red Shield Rumble". Bell time is 6pm, VIP tickets are $18, and general admission is $12.

World Domination Wrestling Alliance will be in action for "Salute to the Fallen" at the South Berkeley Fire Hall in Inwood, WV. Bell time is 6:15pm, first row is $25, and general admission is $20.

Finally, for Sunday, May 24:

Victory Championship Wrestling will be at Bishop Donahue High School in McMechen, WV, presenting "Welcome to the O World". Bell time is 3pm, front row is $25, ringside is $20, bleachers are $15, and it's $5 for kids 10 and under.

On Friday, May 15, Monarch Elite Grappling Association will be at the Marmet Recreation Center in Marmet, WV. Bell time is 7:30pm, front row is $20, and general admission is $15. There are also family ticket bundles: a family of four general admission bundle is $40 while a front row bundle is $60, and it's an extra $10 for each additional family member beyond four.

The next six are on Saturday, May 16.

ELITE PRO WRESTLING ALLIANCE is back at the Short Gap Volunteer Fire Department in Ridgeley, WV. Bell time is 7pm, front row is $25, second row is $20, and advanced general admission is $18 while it's $20 at the door. You can also catch Elite Pro every Thursday at the Indie Theater in Keyser, WV at 7pm.

Maximum Velocity Wrestling will be at McKinley Middle School in Saint Albans, WV to present "Remember the Fallen III". Bell time is 7pm, ringside is $20, general admission is $15, and it's free for kids 5 and under.

Micro Wrestling Federation returns to West Virginia as they will be at the Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Cross Lanes. Bell time is 6pm and tickets start at $24.99 but this show is ages 21+.

Finally on Sunday, May 17, Appalachian Championship Wrestling will be holding a memorial show for Danny Boyd. This free event will be held at A Walk In Time in Charleston, WV at 3pm. This was originally scheduled for back on April 25 but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Also a shout out to Premier Wrestling League-Mid Atlantic as on Friday, May 15, they will be traveling down to North Topsail Beach in North Carolina. Best of luck to the wrestlers of PWL and safe travels.

Despite the issues that led to World Championship Wrestling's demise, if it wasn't for Ted Turner owning WCW and bringing on Eric Bischoff, we would not have had the Monday Night War and probably not the Attitude Era, and even possibly All Elite Wrestling today. RIP.

Ted Turner, the former owner of the Braves and Hawks who made his mark as a media mogul and a philanthropist, has died at the age of 87.
