Nostalgia sparks an emotional response out of us… and emotions are the key to driving sales. 📈

The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary special is just an example on how nostalgia and coming back to the foundation of your personal brand is so important.

Through Miley Cyrus’s journey over the past 20 years we’ve seen her try and redefine what it meant to be ✨her✨ — and what did it do? Sparked controversy, sent her down a path of self discovery, all to get her where she is today… embracing her journey and foundation that began on Disney Channel as Hannah Montana.

Through accepting her story, she has been able to partner with multiple brands and create a cultural moment that brought her back to the top of charts… and we are loving every second of it.

It’s a crazy time to be alive in the brand-building phase and beta testing types of content on multiple platforms… there can be many different reasons why something may hit on TikTok but not on Instagram, and vise versa.

Personally for me, I’ve seen my content hit on Instagram much more. My engagement is 3x the amount I’m getting on TikTok, but why? It’s my job as the content creator to test these content styles, hooks, trending audios, and more.

We’re all in some sort of growth phase on social media since it’s constantly evolving and changing. The experts today may not be the experts tomorrow. We’re truly just all along for the ride.

Everyone keeps asking me — how was your trip to Vegas? It looked fun! Yes, it was the time of my life… but not for the ways you might think.

Throughout my four days in Las Vegas I stepped into a new reality, a reality that I can truly live my life and do whatever I please. With an attitiude of a true open mind, I met people from all over the world, had deep conversations with strangers, and made memories with friends that will last a lifetime.

It’s incredible to be in this new energy and mindset that can remind me every day that life is worth living… and there’s no mold I’m required to fit into.
