Longtime Englewood resident Dawn Stephens was named FIERCE Woman of the Year. The magazine cover showed a photo of Stephens and said "finding a way to heal and 'sparkle' in the face of grief. Stephens and her family founded a nonprofit group Spread Spencer's Sparkle after her 18-year-old son Spencer died in November 2020.
