As election season comes to an end, I just want to say thank you!!!🤍 To my campaign team, my CLT family, my Honors family, my mentors, and especially the strangers who became friends through this campaign, the love and support I’ve gained means more to me than you could ever know!

Most people who know me know how driven I am, and sometimes that can make things like this look easy. But challenging myself to step onto a campus of nearly 16,000 students and make a name for myself in just a few weeks was anything but easy. But what made it worth it was the people. Meeting Aggies from different dorms, hometowns, majors, and even different classes made this experience so much bigger than an election

Of course, I would’ve loved to serve as your Miss Freshman, but everything I stood for still stands: GIVE. AMPLIFY. MOBILIZE. ELEVATE. The title was never the only way to do the work, and I still plan to bring the service and ideas I shared throughout this campaign to life.

So this isn’t game over…It’s still G.A.M.E. time 😉

I’m grateful for every person who helped me get here and every Aggie who took the time to get in the G.A.M.E. with me. From conversations across campus, meeting so many of you, hearing your ideas, and sharing my vision for 2K30… this campaign has already meant more to me than I can put into words.

The plays have been drawn and the work has been put in. Now there’s only one thing left to do…GET IN THE G.A.M.E.

Tomorrow, the Class of 2K30 takes the court.

In case you missed the press conference last night… here’s the G.A.M.E. plan. 🏀📋

GIVE means using our time and talents to serve beyond ourselves. One of my first plays will be launching Aggies Write Back, an initiative beginning with elementary schools in Guilford County that connects Aggies with young scholars to strengthen literacy while empowering students to write and own their narratives.

AMPLIFY means making sure 2K30 is heard. I will create intentional channels for your ideas, concerns, and experiences to reach the people who can help create change.

MOBILIZE means taking those ideas off the clipboard and putting them into action by connecting our class to professional, leadership, service, and involvement opportunities.

ELEVATE means raising the standard for what our freshman class can accomplish, together.

This year has been the most fulfilling experience yet in Black Girls Film Camp as I served as an Executive Director Fellow, leading the rebrand and expansion of our organization into UNCINE

From creative direction and organization development to bringing our launch commercial to life, this project has brought many “first’s” but I couldn’t have done it without my incredibleeeeee team
