Nineteen-year-old Dashad “Sage” Smith went missing from Charlottesville in 2012. On Thursday, the 13th anniversary of her disappearance, police revealed they’d found a person of interest in the case in Los Angeles. WMRA’s Randi B. Hagi reports.

After a long hiatus, I’m back with new missing persons cases for your listening ears!

My last episode was recorded and released in 2021, and it doesn’t even feel like that long ago. As much as I loved the podcast, I had a lot going on in my life. My mother and best friend was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 2022. After her death, I went back to school and graduated with a new degree and moved 900 miles away from my small hometown to work in the big city. The podcast was always there in the back of my mind, but every time I sat down to research or write, I was pulled away by all of the responsibilities calling my name.

Now that things have calmed down and I have more time on my hands, I’m coming back in a big way with 5 new episodes releasing every day during the week of Thanksgiving. Please tune in, give me feedback on what you would like to hear, and engage in conversations about these missing people to get the word out.
