Opinion: When I Realized the Threat Wasn’t Just Foreign
By someone who’s worn the Green Beret and lived to defend the values of this country, I’ve always taken pride in what America stands for: liberty, democracy, and the willingness to fight for freedom—not just here at home, but around the world. I’ve seen firsthand that defending democracy isn’t always clean. Sometimes, it means toppling hostile regimes to stop adversaries like China or Russia from tightening their grip on vulnerable nations. These actions aren’t always popular, but they’re necessary to keep America secure and free.
But something changed in me when I started to see those same threats—those same strategic patterns I was trained to recognize—playing out right here at home.
When the George Floyd riots began, I watched closely. At first, like many, I saw protests and anger. But then I saw something deeper—something eerily familiar. What I saw wasn’t just spontaneous rage or grassroots outrage. I saw coordination, I saw deliberate messaging, I saw information operations. In SF, we call this what it is: psychological warfare. Propaganda. And it wasn’t coming from a foreign adversary—it was being tolerated, even fueled, by those in power- by the demo-communists. They were using the tactics we use to overthrow foreign governments, on us- America! Thats straight out treasonous!
What shocked me more than the operations themselves was the silence. Did you ever hear a Democrat step forward and say, “Stop burning down businesses”? “Stop hurting your fellow Americans”? No. Instead, they allowed the destruction to continue. They even created funds to bail out the terrorists. Why? Because it served a purpose. They didn’t care who got hurt—whether it was families, small business owners, neighbors, or entire cities. The chaos was a tool. And if you’re in their way—politically, ideologically, or economically—they’ll steamroll you. That’s not leadership. That’s not patriotism. That’s not how we treat our own.
Their silence during the violence spoke volumes. Because when good things do happen—when the economy improves, when jobs grow, when innovation surges, tariffs are pumping hundreds of billions back into America— they don’t cheer unless it comes from their side of the aisle. President Trump did more for the economy in six months than Biden managed in four years. That’s not partisanship. That’s fact. Biden and democrats said they could not shut down the border. Trump did it immediately.
I didn’t celebrate when Obama was elected, but I hoped—honestly—that he’d lead with unity. I hoped he’d put America first. But what we got instead was eight years of division and betrayal, followed by more of the same under Biden. That’s 12 years of failed leadership, squandered opportunities, and policies that weakened us while empowering our enemies. Their subversion of our President and America during Trump’s first term stopped America from being successful- especially when their buddy Fauci released his gain of function. Another 4 years wasted.
That’s 16 years of your life that you’re never getting back again. That’s 1/4 of your adult life- ruined by demo-communists.
We’ve spent too long chasing fantasies—endless wars, misguided energy agendas, distractions— & putting up with lies and treason.
When you’re buying their crap at stores, watching their tv shows, sports and movies, you’re funding them.
This isn’t just about party lines anymore. It’s about survival. It’s about choosing between a country that prioritizes freedom and strength, or one that lets chaos reign for political gain. I’ve seen what real threats look like—and I never expected one to rise from within.
But now I know better. And I won’t stay silent.
Listen, these 4 years under Trump are your last 4 years to help save America. Either Trump drains this swamp or demo-communists take over and this country is done. If you thought lawfare was bad against the right before, you haven’t seen nothing yet. We cannot save America while you help fund the demo-communists. We cannot save America if you don’t get involved.
Fight for America. At least during the next 3 1/2 years. It is your only chance. If i did not firmly believe this, I wouldn’t waste my time.
