Running a tournament is like running a business: good sales, product, customer service, and environment. Seeing kids grow from 8U to graduating high school, building a great community through sports – that's what it's all about. It's about raising kids and asking what people need.

Ever wonder what umpires experience? As a coach, you rarely see their side. Spending years assigning them, you learn their stories—the challenges they face, the dedication they bring, and the desire to contribute to the game we all love. They're choosing to be out there.

Want to help your daughter succeed? Sit down at the start of each season and define clear goals together. Write them down. Then, hold her accountable to what *she* said she wanted to achieve. It's the easiest parenting tool.

Dads get anxious because they see their kids grind all week long, the tears, the late nights. One mom called needing help, on the verge of losing her kid. A program was created, and just by saying "Hey baby girl I love you," the girl’s batting average soared. Small impacts, big changes.

We often put everyone else's needs before our own, believing that fixing their problems will bring us fulfillment. But true fulfillment comes from investing in ourselves. Dedicate an hour each day to refill your cup and watch how it transforms your relationships and the lives around you. Become the example.

I took my book out for a walk today.

Yeah… I literally walked around town with Leading Her Game like it was a dog on a leash. Stopped here, took a picture. Stopped there, took a picture. Took it to the park, the car, the sidewalk — this thing got more fresh air today than most softball parents get during a tournament weekend.

And honestly?

It behaved better than half of the emotions I deal with daily.

But here’s the funny part… everywhere I set this book down, I kept thinking the same thing:

If more parents took this thing for a walk, their softball world — and their home — would be a whole lot quieter, calmer, and way less dramatic.

This book fixes the car ride chaos.

It fixes the communication breakdowns.

It fixes the “why won’t she just listen to me?” moments.

It fixes the tears, the pressure, the misunderstandings, and the emotional landmines that turn a simple game into a family meltdown.

So if you haven’t taken my book out for a walk yet… you probably should.

Take it to breakfast. Take it to the ballpark. Take it on a lap around the neighborhood. Let it do some work on your household before the next practice turns into another silent ride home.

Your daughter will thank you.

Your sanity will thank you.

Your relationship will absolutely thank you.

And who knows… maybe next time, your book will walk you.

It’s easy to forget what matters most.
The weekend’s over, the dust has settled, and maybe you’re still replaying the games—not just the hits and errors, but the words said in the car ride home. The look in her eyes when she didn’t feel heard. The way every “talk” about softball somehow turns into tension instead of trust.

If you’ve ever wondered how something meant to bring you closer started pulling you apart, you’re not alone. Every parent wants the best for their daughter—but love can get lost in the noise of competition.

Leading Her Game was written for parents who want to reconnect. It’s not a hitting manual or a list of drills—it’s a guide to understanding your daughter’s heart, her mindset, and her emotional world. It shows you how to replace pressure with presence, criticism with connection, and how to become the steady voice she can always count on.

When she feels supported instead of judged, she plays free again. She smiles again. And that’s when she starts thriving—not just as an athlete, but as your daughter.

Grab your copy of Leading Her Game today at leadyourjourney.com/author and learn how to lead her through love, not pressure.

Every parent wants the best for their daughter—but somewhere between the lessons, practices, and long car rides, it’s easy to lose sight of what she really needs: connection.

Leading Her Game isn’t about hitting or fielding. It’s the playbook for the relationship that shapes everything else. It helps you understand your daughter beyond stats and results—teaching you how to guide her through adversity, build her confidence, and strengthen your bond for life.

Inside, you’ll learn:
• The 3R Method – Recognition, Regulation, and Reinforcement to create emotional consistency and confidence.
• The PIRE Framework – Parental Influence for Role-Model Excellence through reflection, alignment, and accountability.
• Real stories and practical sideline tools that show how to move from controlling to guiding, from reacting to connecting.

Because when you understand the psychology behind her game, you stop being just her biggest fan—you become her greatest ally.

The Undefeated Series is more than training—it’s transformation. This is faith-based performance training built to strengthen your body, sharpen your mind, and anchor your heart.

For the student-athlete, it means understanding that your talent is a gift, but your discipline is your worship. Every rep, every class, every game becomes a reflection of your purpose. You train with intention, compete with conviction, and lead with character—on and off the field.

For the married couple, it’s about spiritual teamwork. Learning how to pray through pressure, communicate with grace, and keep God at the center of everything you build together. You don’t just grow stronger individually—you grow stronger as one.

This is what it means to train undefeated. To move with purpose, to serve through your gifts, and to live every day with faith, discipline, and grit.

As a business owner, you have to wear every hat. You have to learn how to adjust when things change and adapt when plans fall apart. One day you’re marketing, the next you’re fixing problems you never saw coming. You have to learn to manage people, money, and mindset all at once—and still show up with purpose.

But it’s not just about business. As a person, you grow through every challenge. You learn to stay grounded when everything around you shifts. You learn to keep your integrity when shortcuts look tempting. You learn to rebuild when something gets taken from you—your audience, your opportunity, or your momentum.

Every setback becomes part of your strength. Every pivot sharpens your skill. Every challenge builds the version of you that was meant to lead. They take your audience? You build another one. They close a door? You build a new room. Keep moving forward—because the ones who adapt, evolve, and refuse to quit are the ones who rise.
