I do my weekly shop at the and every time I stopped by, I felt like it would be the perfect spot to try out some different techniques with my work.

Normally I do portrait work, but it felt good to step out of my comfort zone and just follow my intuition. I had a lot of fun with this and it felt great to make some time to get back in the creative flow again.

Had a beautiful family session yesterday with some of my favorites 😍 and fam gifted this photoshoot to mother in law Lindsey. Can't wait to post some candids from this session. Staged portraits like these are a MUST for memories but the candids are where the magic is

Feeling so lucky that I got to take these couples maternity photos of my dear friend .

It's so funny because she is one of my training buddies at jiu-jitsu. One day she said to me...how funny would it be if we had babies at the same time? Then we can set them at the edge of the mat together while we train!!!

Well she broke the exciting news to all of us and I just had a funny feeling....so I ended up testing a little while later and sure enough 🤰🏼🤰

Our due dates are only 2 weeks apart. You can't plan something like that lol!! So..you can see this photoshoot is very near and dear to my heart.

My friend Jose! Some people are just naturals in front of the camera. This first shot was just how he was sitting for a headshot, but I loved how relaxed, yet confident he looked so we had to get the whole pose. You know I like to switch it up!!

My lovely client Kim didn't want traditional headshots- she is a talented and experienced professional graphic designer and she needed photos that fit.

Almost a year ago, we had a shoot for her daughter at this same location! Kim and Kaci are graffiti lovers and really appreciate nice art and design so Camp North End was perfect for them both. We had plenty of graffiti backdrops to choose from, but I think this one compliments her the most.

Yesterday you saw the lifestyle photos from my session with Chris. But he also got some headshots done!

He wanted something dark and colorful, but also casual since he is a realtor- he wanted to have an approachable look since he spends so much time working with clients! I think we checked all those boxes 😊

Do you like this style of colorful headshots or do you prefer something more traditional?
