HAWKINS, Texas — Purpose, presence, and power define Jakala Allen as she steps into her official role on the Jarvis Christian University Royal Court, serving as Miss Freshman for the 2026–2027 academic year.

A proud native of Fort Worth, Texas, Allen is a Mass Communications major whose vision for the Class of 2030 centers on unity, tradition, and student connection. Elected by her peers to lead and advocate for the freshman class, her mission is to ensure every incoming student feels seen, valued, and truly rooted in the Jarvis family.

A proud native of Jackson, Mississippi, Gordon is a Mathematics and Computer Science double major whose impact spans technology, campus media, and civic advocacy. His remarkable trajectory on the Royal Court reflects the enduring trust of his peers: serving as Mister Freshman (2024–2025), Mister Sophomore (2025–2026), and now Mister Junior, representing the Class of 2028 for three consecutive years.

Gordon’s tenure as a campus leader is defined by tangible action and community engagement. As Mister Freshman, he spearheaded the “Let’s Break the Stigma” Mental Health Awareness Panel to advocate for peer well-being. Continuing his hands-on leadership as Mister Sophomore, he hosted the campus-wide Snow-Cone Social and championed civic power through Voting Literacy & Registration Night in collaboration with MS Votes, OSLE, and MVSU NPHC.

An Honors Student and STRADA Scholar, Gordon also serves as 2nd Vice President for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), MCIS Chaplain, and a Valley News Anchor. Beyond his operational roles across University Communications, Athletics, and IT, he is a former MS Votes DIA Fellow and an inductee into the Community Service Hall of Fame.
