When my father didn’t have my hand, he had my back. I love my Dad for the way he loves me, uplifts me, calls just to hear my voice, tells me stories of sneaking in the window to see my mom and working for my Granny, shows me I’m his favorite, apologizes when our Sagittarian tempers boil over, teaches me how to work with my hands and use tools, and shows up for me when I need him, in the way I need. Happy Father’s Day, Dad. 💛✨

BLACK LIVES MATTER ✊🏾 and we can’t forget that at the polls. Local officials are instrumental in hiring and firing police officers and hold the power to prosecute them and hold them accountable, from excessive force to murder. While we protest today in the fight for justice for , and , we can’t forget them when we get to the polls in November. Remember the federal officials who called for and activated violence against protestors and VOTE THEM OUT. Continue to support the cause and by peaceful protesting, contributing to bail out funds, donating supplies: milk, masks, water, signs, markers, cardboard, etc.

It’s OK to admit you can do more — we all can. It’s OK not to be on the frontlines or protesting — support the cause in other ways such as buying supplies (milk, masks, water, etc.), contributing to bail bonds funds, making signs. ✊🏾
