As a US Army veteran…my connection to 9/11 and my efforts to honor my commitment were always steadfast.
I remember standing in formation and our leaders telling us, we’re a nation at war.
I’ll admit, there were times while in Iraq, I was uncertain if I’d make it back home to my family. I understood the mission & and was proud to have done my duty, when my nation called upon me.
Grateful to all the men and women who sacrificed, some the ultimate sacrifice, and to those who continue to pay their respects to those we lost on this day 25 years ago.
