It’s wild how the media stay silent when it’s us. Dr. Cameisha Clarke — a proud Clark Atlanta alum, Dean of Students at Spartan College, and a member of that beautiful sisterhood, Alpha Kappa Alpha 💚🩷 — was murdered on campus by a White former security guard. A whole Black woman in leadership, taken out by a man who never should’ve been anywhere near her.
Just weeks ago, the whole country was in an uproar when a White male student was killed by a Black teen — headlines everywhere, nonstop coverage. But now? Crickets.
Why ain't the nation speaking up for Dr. Clarke? Where’s the outrage when a Black woman — an educator, a leader, a sister — is murdered in cold blood? This ain’t just a tragedy. It’s a reminder that Black lives, especially Black women’s lives, still don’t get the respect or attention they damn well deserve.
