Just had a writing session with my husband! ✍️💖

We took some time to reflect, connect, and put our thoughts on paper. It felt so good to create together, even from a distance. I hope you all enjoy what we came up with! 💌

Question:

What kind of husband/wife do you want to be moving forward?

Describe our first year after you come home.

What goals should we work on together (financial, family, personal)?

What does healing look like for us?

How can we build a stronger foundation than before?

To the woman holding it down this Easter… 💐

I see you.

Still showing up for your kids.
Still answering that phone with love.
Still putting money on books.
Still staying loyal when it’s not easy.

This life isn’t for the weak—and yet here you are, doing it with grace.

Don’t let anyone minimize your journey. Loving someone through incarceration takes strength most people don’t understand.

Today, I hope you take a moment for YOU. Even if it’s small. Even if it’s just a deep breath.

You deserve love, peace, and recognition too. 💛

Real talk this Easter… 🕊️

Some relationships don’t survive incarceration—but some of us are still here, still choosing love every single day.

Not because it’s easy.
But because it’s real.

We’re writing letters, taking calls, planning futures, and holding onto faith—even when it gets hard.

That kind of love? It’s different. It’s intentional.

So today, instead of focusing on what’s missing, let’s acknowledge what’s still standing:
❤️ Commitment
❤️ Growth
❤️ Loyalty
❤️ Hope

If you’re still riding for your person, drop a 🕊️ below.

We may be separated physically, but we are still connected in every way that matters.

Easter check-in 💛

Not everyone is smiling today—and that’s okay.

Some of us are celebrating…
Some of us are holding back tears…
Some of us are just trying to make it through the day.

Loving someone who is incarcerated during holidays hits different. The emptiness, the missing presence, the “this isn’t how it’s supposed to be” feeling… it’s real.

But so is your strength.
So is your loyalty.
So is your love.

If today feels heavy, give yourself permission to feel it—but don’t forget who you are. You are strong enough to carry this.

Comment “STILL STANDING” if you made it through today, no matter how it looked for you. 💪🏽💜

5 Things Every Prison Wife Needs to Remember:

1. You cannot control the situation—but you CAN control how you respond
2. Communication will be inconsistent… don’t take everything personal
3. His past is real—but it does not have to be your future
4. You are his partner, not his savior
5. Your mental health matters just as much as his freedom

Love him… but don’t lose yourself 🤍
