I chose the lotus simply because it was beautiful. I chose it because of what it represents. 🪷

The lotus grows through muddy water, yet rises above it still beautiful and untouched by the environment it had to grow through. 🪷

And that resonates with me 🪷

I don't despise the mud, I honor it, because some of the hardest places I've had to grow through helped shape the woman I am today. Where I came from, what I survived, and who I once had to be did not determine who I would be.

I don't look like everything I had to grow through.

Good Morning 🌞 & Happy Sunday 🎉💃🏾💅🏾🫶🏾🥰

My day has started off absolutely amazing, with an adrenaline rush that has me hyped for sure. I decided to do my walk/jog today joining the Run Club. As someone who used to be over 300lbs it made me smile to see my people out there hitting the pavement, especially the older people who give me motivation to remember that this life is a lifestyle and I want to age gracefully to be able to still walk/jog in my older age as well. There are too many of us dying from diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, etc. I'm truly loving this journey of life I'm in, always growing, loving, exploring, discovering, and choosing the betterment for myself on a daily basis for life ♥️🫶🏾 💅🏾✌🏾

I spent so many years of my life in my twenties in bo***ge and bitter about the life I thought I had to settle for until I decided to make some changes and stay true to myself about the life I truly desired to live. Trying to live up to the expectations of others or tried to mimic but my vision, goals and dream wouldn't let me rest in settling for what I thought I had to live with.

I've always had a vision for my life. I've always wanted to experience living in different places, being around different cultures and living a rich life full of experiences! Once I found out that I was a generational curse breaker, I'm disrupting patterns, and creating something new. I own that it's not my job to follow what was but to evolve into what is and what will be. I am the blueprint!!!

North Carolina it was fun but it's time for me to move on.

My new journey awaits; stay tuned!!!!

You should know that you are not stuck anywhere in life! You are not a tree. All you have to do is decide to leave or do something different! You have more power to create change in your life than you think you do! Sure. It may not be easy, but anything worth having or creating that takes a solid foundation to sustain.
