Last time I was at Moss & Black Salon and Spa I left a few postcards with info about Wishes and Wings. 🦋

Today, I walked in and saw the actual book sitting on the counter—left by a “random stranger” who must have picked up a card, purchased a copy, and then brought it back to share with others. 💜

Not random.
Intentional.
And honestly… the kindest surprise. ✨🪽✨

What an inspiring day in the classroom! 🍎♿️

Matt Brown visited with 4th graders to share Wishes on Wheels — a poetry collection written by and for children living with mobility challenges — alongside one of the proud young poets who contributed to the book. 🌟

Editor Suzanne Galvin led a mini poetry lesson, helping students find their own words of courage and kindness — and discover just how powerful their voices can be. 💪🏼

Such a special evening with The Isabella Santos Foundation — having fun while making a real difference!

Met the charming Shep and Austen from Southern Charm (and yes… had my own Bravo confessional moment 😅). I’m so proud to be part of an organization that brings hope and healing to children fighting rare cancers. The funds raised last night will help support fertility preservation programs in Charlotte and Charleston — an often-overlooked but vitalpart of recovery and the future these children deserve.

Grateful to be back where it all began. 🎓

Many thanks to Stonehill College for inviting Matt Brown (’16) and me (’87) to return to our alma mater for the Stonehill Stories podcast. We had the opportunity to share how the publication of Wishes and Wings sparked a meaningful collaboration that led to Wishes on Wheels—and how our Stonehill education continues to guide us today. 💜

Hosted by Liam Dacko (’16), the conversation revealed that despite the gap between our Stonehill eras, we have favorite memories in common (special shoutout to Professor Dahlin!) and remain inspired by Stonehill’s mission to build a more just and compassionate world. 🫶

A moment of full-circle pride: Wishes and Wings and Wishes on Wheels are now part of the Alumni shelf in the Irish Studies Library on The Hill—a true honor to be among so many notable authors. 🌟
