It's been a while and my loctician is working her magic. This is half way through the process.

His laugh is everything! Our boy had so much fun playing T-ball last week. There were a lot of things there that tested him sensory wise but he pushed through except with wearing a glove. I will take all of the wins. I look forward to tomorrow because the Charlotte Knights organization is sponsoring the event.

Our boy is starting his first year of non-competitive T-ball. Let's hope the weather holds up.

God, thank You for growth.
There was a time when hair days meant dysregulation, tears, and holding him still.
Today it was calm.
No forcing.
No overwhelm.
Just patience, trust, and love.
This may look small to someone else
but to me, this is answered prayer.
I’m proud of my son.
And I’m proud of the mother I’m becoming. 🤍

“I release responsibility that was never mine.”

I’ve learned that carrying everything doesn’t make me loving—
it makes me tired.
Scripture reminds me that healthy faith includes healthy responsibility:
“Each one should carry their own load.”
— Galatians 6:5
This verse isn’t about abandonment.
It’s about ownership.
About allowing people the dignity of managing what belongs to them
without me stepping in to rescue, fix, or absorb the weight.
Releasing responsibility doesn’t mean I don’t care.
It means I trust God’s process in others’ lives
and honor the boundaries He designed.
Today, I choose clarity over guilt.
Peace over pressure.
And faith over control.

One of my new favorite pictures of us. He enjoyed being put in the "snow" so much. I want a real snow day for my babies.

It wasn’t much snow, but it was enough to make memories.

I trust God enough to stop over-carrying.

I’m learning that trust isn’t just believing God can handle it.
It’s believing He wants to.
For a long time, I carried things out of habit, responsibilities, emotions, outcomes, and expectations
that were never mine to manage.

Casting isn’t passive.
It’s intentional release.
It’s choosing to loosen my grip and trust that God is already holding what I’ve been afraid to put down.

So today, I’m practicing surrender, not as weakness, but as obedience.

Not because I can’t carry it,
but because I don’t have to.
Peace begins where over-carrying ends.
