🚨 HURRICANE ISAIAS | DEPLOYMENT & RECOVERY UPDATE 🚨

Team Dominator Storm Recovery (TDSR) is closely monitoring Hurricane Isaias as our team prepares to deploy to impacted areas to provide disaster recovery assistance and community support following landfall.

Our mission is to assist communities affected by severe weather through search and rescue support, debris removal, roadway clearing, emergency assistance, and recovery operations.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER

If you are located in an evacuation zone, please heed all warnings and evacuation orders issued by local emergency management and public safety officials.

Do not wait until conditions become dangerous to evacuate. Your safety and the safety of your family should always come first.

We encourage everyone in the potential impact area to stay weather-aware, have an emergency plan, and monitor official forecasts and emergency notifications.

🧡 When disaster strikes, Team Dominator Storm Recovery stands ready to serve.

Team Dominator Storm Recovery is preparing to intercept the first potential hurricane to make landfall this year.

Our team is preparing personnel, vehicles, medical equipment, search and rescue gear, chainsaws, and disaster-response supplies. Should communities be impacted, TDSR will be in the area to provide aid and support to those who need it.

⚠️ HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS TIPS

• Have multiple ways to receive weather warnings and emergency information.
• Charge phones, battery packs, radios, and other essential electronics.
• Have enough food, water, medications, and essential supplies for several days.
• Secure outdoor furniture, trash cans, decorations, and other loose objects.
• Fuel your vehicle before conditions deteriorate.
• Know your evacuation route and leave immediately if local officials order an evacuation.
• Never drive through flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
• Stay away from downed power lines and report them to authorities.
• Do not operate generators inside homes, garages, or other enclosed areas.
• After the storm, avoid unnecessary travel so emergency and utility crews can safely operate.

Do not wait until conditions become dangerous to prepare.

TDSR will continue monitoring the system and coordinating deployment plans as the forecast becomes clearer.

Prepare early. Stay weather aware. Take warnings seriously.

🚨🔥 BREAKING — LARGE INDUSTRIAL FIRE IN SOUTH HAVEN, MICHIGAN 🔥🚨

📍 East Jordan Plastics — South Haven, Michigan

A large fire is currently underway at East Jordan Plastics in South Haven, sending a substantial column of dark smoke into the atmosphere.

The smoke plume is significant and may be visible from several miles away. Residents should avoid the immediate area and stay clear of responding emergency equipment as firefighters continue working the incident.

⚠️ IF YOU ARE DOWNWIND OR IN THE PATH OF THE SMOKE:

If smoke is moving into your neighborhood, take precautions to reduce your exposure until local authorities provide additional guidance.

🏠 Stay indoors whenever possible.
🪟 Close windows and exterior doors.
🌬️ If possible, place your HVAC system on recirculate and limit the amount of outside air being brought into your home or business.
🐕 Bring pets indoors and keep them away from areas experiencing heavy smoke.
👶 Use additional caution with children, older adults, and anyone with asthma, COPD, cardiovascular disease, or other conditions that may make them more sensitive to smoke.
🚗 If you encounter heavy smoke while driving, keep your windows closed, use your vehicle's recirculation setting, slow down if visibility decreases, and avoid the affected area when possible.

Do not assume the smoke is safe simply because you are some distance from the fire. The exact materials involved and composition of the smoke should be left to responding agencies and environmental officials to determine.

🚒 PLEASE GIVE FIRST RESPONDERS ROOM TO WORK

Do not travel toward the scene to take photographs or video. Additional traffic can interfere with fire apparatus, mutual-aid companies and other emergency personnel responding to or leaving the incident.

If officials issue an evacuation, shelter-in-place or other emergency instruction, follow that guidance immediately.

📱 Continue monitoring information from South Haven Area Emergency Services, local emergency management, law enforcement and other official government sources for confirmed updates.

⚠️ AVOID THE AREA • STAY OUT OF THE SMOKE • LET CREWS WORK

We will continue to share confirmed information as it becomes available.

Team Dominator Storm Recovery is launching the LIFT initiative.
In weather, Lift is the upward movement of warm air that helps create clouds and thunderstorms.
In TDSR, lift is also a positive, 4 part campaign for the weather community.

L - Learn - We will be helping the general public more easily understand weather and radar, map location, and storm direction with information and links to free courses. We will focus on providing simple, calm and prioritized public information during weather events.
I - Inspire - We will be helping coach young weather enthusiasts to follow their dreams by planning local and online events with our team and our partners, recording personal videos, sending out free merch, and other activities. All weather obsessed kids are welcome.
F - Forgive - We want to be a positive influence in the online weather community by encouraging everyone to try and be more kind to each other. Forgive misjudgments, stop public bullying and avoid the cancel culture. Adapt constructive criticism and help guide those willing to learn from mistakes.
T- Teach - We will be having presentations at various schools to help teach children about severe weather and how to be proactive and prepare for it, rather than being scared. We will have fun discussions, prizes and team recovery/ chaser vehicles for an interactive experience.

S.T.A.N.D.

Serve. Together. Act. Never. Divide.

S.T.A.N.D. is a campaign built around one simple belief: we are stronger when we stand together.

In a world where bullying, division, hate, and hardship can make people feel like they are facing life alone, S.T.A.N.D. is a reminder that one person choosing to step up can make a difference.

Serve those around you.
Together we are stronger.
Act when someone needs help.
Never ignore someone who is struggling.
Divide is what we refuse to let happen.

S.T.A.N.D. isn't just about wearing a shirt, sharing a post, or supporting a campaign. It's about taking action—helping a neighbor after a disaster, standing beside someone being bullied, supporting someone going through a difficult time, volunteering in your community, or simply reminding another person that they aren't alone.

You don't need a badge, a title, or special training to make an impact. Sometimes making a difference starts with being the person willing to show up.

Stand for your community.
Stand against bullying.
Stand against hate and division.
Stand beside those who need someone.
Stand for something bigger than yourself.

STAND FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN'T STAND
