One of my newest favorite climbs, Harpoon, is a wonderfully fun left leaning crack. Graded as a 5.10a, it was first put up by Jim Okel, Tom Howard, and Lee Carter in 1981.

Looking to escape that summer heat? I would highly recommend checking out Ship Rock. Only a couple hours north of Charlotte and nestled next a beautiful mountain town, it’s definitely worth the visit!

Have you ever found bad bolts? Have you just assumed the magic bolt fairy replaces them? Those magic bolt replacement fairies are actually individuals volunteering their time to keep you safe! This weekend at and took the time to teach the techniques and etiquette around bolt replacement! Video to come soon!

Yesterday was a killer day! Went up some fun climbs, did some spicy leads with little protection. Got lost on route, found new routes, DIDN’T GET SUNBURNED! It was a great day!
