I was working in Chicago in what was then called The Sears Tower on the 26th floor trading desk. We watched the televisions what was happening and suddenly Tom Mulroy got on the intercom system told everyone to get out of the building ASAP (the Sears Tower is one of the tallest buildings in the world). It’s the first time I had gone down the staircase from the 26th floor. Thankfully, nothing happened to the Sears Tower that day, but the same can’t be said for those in the WTC Twin Towers. We will never forget. I will never forget.
