After reviewing over 250 submissions for Kiara’s Psalm, our casting team has been truly impressed by the incredible talent shared with us. We are currently in the process of sending out first-round callbacks.

This is a competitively paid, non-union film for all speaking roles.

To advance to final callbacks, a monologue submission is required. All submission requirements and deadlines will be clearly outlined in each actor’s congratulatory callback email.

Final callbacks will be held in person in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with no more than five (5) callback performers per role. A virtual callback option will be offered to actors residing outside a 200-mile radius of Charlotte, NC.

If you do not receive a callback by this Sunday, January 11th, 2026, please know that this decision is not a reflection of your talent, but rather the overall best fit for each character within the film. Be encouraged and continue submitting to production companies—the roles meant for you will come.

Congratulations to all actors and actresses receiving callbacks, and best of luck as you move forward. We look forward to viewing your callback monologues and meeting many of you next month here in Charlotte.
