Today is the last day to vote!
While I am humbled and honored to make it to the final cut, I am by no means married to the idea of “winning”, and the concept of being “the best” at anything feels a little icky and elitist to me; that said— a win for me is a win for something much bigger than me as an individual, bigger than all of us. It is a win for a beautiful free, public, community resource that I, and many other amazing humans I work with, volunteer countless hours to and are so very passionate about sustaining.
Vote for best radio personality AND best radio station in Charlottesville: Fontana Mercury AND WTJU Rock.
The others I share the ballot with are without a doubt, surely all amazing people and excellent at what they do; but they represent corporate, for-profit endeavors. A vote for me is a vote for the community!!! WTJU Rock
