Let’s be praying for Forrest Frank! Forrest was outside playing with his 2-year-old when he had a freak accident — he fell off his skateboard and slammed into the side of his house. That fall broke his back in several places and could have been even worse.

Fun times for national night out with Albemarle County Police Department

Mark your calendars! Join us for Putt Putt with the Police on Tuesday, August 5, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at the Putt Putt Fun Center on Rio Road.

This free, family-friendly event is part of our National Night Out celebration and a great opportunity to connect with your local officers. Come enjoy mini golf, meet our K-9s, explore police vehicles, participate in a scavenger hunt, and enjoy free snacks and prizes. Officers will also be handing out school supplies to help children in our community get ready for the new school year.
