More parades!!!

The annual CVFD Christmas parade will be held Saturday, December 6th at 2PM!

The parade route will begin at Crozet Elementary and end at the Firehouse. Line up will be at 1PM at the Crozet Elementary School. You do not need to register to be in the parade. Just come to line up.

Please join us after the parade at the firehouse for an open house. Inside the station Santa will be available for pictures. Outside we will have bounce houses, and fire trucks to explore! We will have free hotdogs, coffee and hot chocolate (while they last). We also have Chik-fil-a and Sunset Slush Italian Ice for purchase!

Never forget!!!

Today at 1:55 p.m. the UVA Chapel bells will toll to honor the lives of Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr., and D’Sean Perry. As we mark three years since their passing, everyone in the UVA community is invited to pause, reflect, and remember them. Together, let us honor their memory and stand in unity and support for all who have been touched by their lives.

Following the tolling of the Chapel bells, the Batten School and The PEGLLLLab invite the University community to join in a memorial walk to the Betsy and John Casteen Arts Grounds, to visit the trees planted for Chandler, Davis and Perry.

A student led silent vigil will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. on the South Lawn.
