Let’s start with the good stuff - Starbucks always makes me happy, we had lunch at a really yummy Columbian restaurant, and I got to see this view again.
But all of that came with the typical air travel struggles (baggage claim and rental car).
Then about 30 minutes into our 2 1/2 drive down to the Keys, the skid plate on the rental car came detached. We had to wait two hours for a tow truck, go back to the airport and get another car.
But, we’re here. The place is amazing. And I’m grateful that we can pull off vacations like this. The challenges are worth it!
