Happy wet Monday, y’all! Hope this week’s issue has been keepin’ ya warm and fuzzy!

This week’s Chattynooga issue is a love letter to the quiet kinda kindness: the backpacks packed with care, the free tacos sent to strangers, and the sunshine passed from one hand to another.

Inside we got:
- A call to sponsor students in Cleveland as school starts back up
- The yummiest corner of Reddit
- Maker moments at the Chattanooga Market
- And tons’a summer events, from Gworls Night to Grunge Fest! If they’re tagged, we’re most likely yappin’ about them!

Let us know how yer week’s going buds! We can’t wait to catch up throughout the week!

Issue 20’s been out a couple of days, and we’ve got big community energy goin’ on in full swing!

This week, we’re honoring the stories we leave behind, and the ones we still get to tell together. 💛

We’re helpin’ our pal Brianna build Granny’s Garden Library, a Little Free Library in memory of her mama — a woman who loved books, her grandkids, and gardens full of joy. We’re collectin’ donations to fill the shelves with stories that matter, and we’d love if you could contribute! Got a book you can donate? We’d love to take it off yer hands!

📦 DM us, email [email protected], or visit our Amazon Gift List (in bio) to toss a couple of doll-hairs directly instead!

PLUS, we rounded up the best of this week’s local happenings, and there’s no shortage of fun here in the Scenic City. We’re talkin’:

- Markets
- Noise Sessions and Emo Nights
- Letter writin’
- Art shows featurin’ our pal
- Garden yoga
- And yes… jorts. So many jorts. 👖

If yer tagged, we’re definitely yappin’ about ya in our newsletter this week!

Slide through the carousel to see how you can jump in, show up, and help your neighbors feel a lil’ more loved this week.

Happy Monday, folks! 🌞

It’s the kind of week where the sidewalk sticks to your shoes, your opinions come out spicier than planned, and the only breeze is from that rattly box fan in your grandma’s attic. Even Clementine’s down for the count this week (she’ll be back though, ya can’t keep ‘er down.)

This issue, Bubby’s sweatin’ through his socks and yelling about popsicles, why needs to be in every restaurant, and ponderin’ long lines in this Summer heat. We’re also shinin’ a community spotlight on David, the ’ bat boy who’s bringin’ more heart to the dugout than most folks bring to Thanksgiving. There’s also:

– A rundown of events hotter than the asphalt at Riverbend
– A website that may or may not fry your attention span
– And a gentle reminder to water yourself like you’re one of your momma’s porch plants

Read the latest issue of Chattynooga now: “Hot Takes and Hotter Days.” Because ‘round here, stories still need to be told, even on a scorcher of a day like this!

Take a look at the link in our bio to read the issue now!

- has a book and a smile
- You can literally stare at the sun (with science!)
- Clem’s Yard Sale Extravaganza is gonna be legendary
- And BBQ Week put on by our friends at ? Say less, buckaroo.

If the world feels loud lately, this issue is your gentle reminder that even a small light can guide folks home. Subscribe at the link in our bio for the full scoop; your inbox deserves a little joy too. 💌

Well now that we’ve got a few folks here, we reckon it’s time we reintroduce ourselves! 🤠

Howdy y’all, this here’s Chattynooga: a community-rooted newsletter chocked full of Chattanooga charm, community magic, and a touch of chaos every Monday mornin’.

It’s all reported by your favorite front porch duo and kids at heart:

- Bubby Tallant, our Yapper-in-Chief, is a walking headline machine with a nose for good stories (and a backpack full of snacks).

Clementine McBride, Keeper of Whimsy and Proofreadin’ Prodigy, is Part poet, part ponderer, full-time believer in everyday magic.

Think of us as the Scenic City’s silliest storytellers, dedicated to sharing the joy, jokes, and gentle heartbeats of this little town we call home.

🪑 Pull up a chair, bud. There’s a whole lotta Chattanooga we can’t wait to show ya.
