🍂SCENIC CITY SHOWCASE: SEPTEMBER 22 - 28, 2025🍂

Y’all
 fall’s here. I smelled it in the air this mornin’ while the gloomy rain drizzled the porch steps. That crispy leaf smell that makes ya wanna buy an apple cider and put on your favorite cozy sweater (and try not to heat stroke cause the cold ain’t quite there yet.)

We’ve got a stacked week comin’ up, from alpaca cuddles to spooky night markets to the most glittery dance party this side of the river. I even heard someone’s paintin’ moons and eatin’ beignets at the same time. Chattanooga, you wild.

So lace up them boots, grab a cozy drink, and let’s make this week the kind of story we tell on the porch for years to come.

From Halfpipe Homies to Girl Dinner chaos, Hobbit crafts and block parties, this week’s Chattanooga happenings are straight-up whimsical. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Happy Tuesday, y’all!

We’re tryin’ to be more consistent with our postin’, so guess what? Now y’all get a full scoop of events every Tuesday!

Every week, we’ll be peekin’ out over the porch rail and ask, “What’s goin’ on around here?” to share with our pals. This week, the answer is: a whole lotta good.

đŸ•Żïž Hope on the Porch is our September-long campaign for Su***de Prevention Month: a front porch conversation about stayin’ when things get heavy, and keepin’ the light on for ourselves and each other.

All month, we’ll be sharing stories, spotlights for local organizations and businesses, and small ways to show up.

We’re also raisin’ funds for ’s Out of the Darkness Walk, highlighting local voices and resources that remind that:

- You still matter.
- You’re still here.
- And we’re real glad about it.

Feathers flyin’, glitter glowin’, and a spotlight on one of Chattanooga’s sassiest stages, this week we’re steppin’ behind the curtain with Scenic City Burlesque and got to yappin’ with the MARVELOUS Dorothy Demure herself!

But that ain’t all we’ve got up our sleeve
 River Games are makin’ a splash, Community Circles Day is fillin’ cups (and hearts), and I may or may not have uncovered a gnome government at Rock City (Don’t believe me? Head on over to their page and see ‘em yerself 👀)

If ya haven’t yet, put on yer sassiest outfit, have a little dance in the rain, and read the whole shebang of our latest scoop in issue 24. Its a wild one, bud.

Ain’t no yard sale like the 127 Yard Sale, and that’s just the warm-up. From margaritas and cold plunges to bingo, ballroom dancing, and feathered pirates, we’ve got the weekend lined up tighter than a church potluck (and someone already took the last dang roll đŸ« )

- Signal Mountain’s vendor hotspots are stacked (Lone Oak, Picker’s Field, Hot Dog Landing, and more!)
- Dance your way through Friday night with ballroom moves and a movie in the park
- Dip yer toes in the water and try some stand up paddleboarding (or SUP as the cool kids say đŸ‘ˆđŸ»đŸ˜ŽđŸ‘ˆđŸ»
- Catch Eslabon Armado Sunday night for the perfect summer send-off
- And don’t forget the Cherokee Cultural Celebration happening all weekend long!
