Proud Mom Moment 💙✈️🇪🇸

This has been an exceptionally busy week, but Wednesday stood out. In the middle of everything, we dropped Mason off at the airport as he headed to Spain with his The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Gary W. Rollins College of Business - fellow classmates.

A while back, Mason applied for an international program through UTC — and now he’s off experiencing the world - AGAIN. Last year he traveled abroad to study in Japan and hea off to Spain!

Isn’t that the hope? That our kids do more than we’ve done, see more than we’ve seen, and live boldly? He’s definitely doing that.

So proud of the OUR Mason and the man he’s becoming.

The Hamilton County Mayor’s Office Christmas Tree Lighting was exactly what we needed to kick off the Christmas holidays and it was even sweeter that my was able to join us.🌲 🎅

It was good seeing so many familiar faces — people my dad worked with, people my parents served alongside in the community. Moments like that remind me just how special our community really is.

And it brought back so many memories for me. 🎁 🌲
