What a great weekend celebrating Marty Lowe! After a few tough weeks, it meant so much to be surrounded by friends, family, and those friends - who feel like family—for a special birthday celebration. 🎉 🎂💗🎉🎂💗

I’m incredibly thankful for Marty and all he does to make others feel celebrated and loved. It was nice to somewhat surprise him with an evening full of joy, laughter, and love. 🎂💗🎉🎂💗🎉🎂💗🎉

❤️🙏The past few weeks have been some of the hardest of my life after the loss of my firstborn son. I’m taking it one day at a time—and this weekend, I’m especially grateful for sunshine, fresh air, and time with dear friends.To every one of you who has lifted me up with your prayers, messages, hugs, and love—thank you.

Your support is carrying me through.

For the last two years, you’ve honored me as Chattanoogas Best of The Best “Best Chattanoogan” and “Favorite Radio Personality”, and I’ve been humbled every time.

21 days ago, my sweet firstborn, Joey, passed away. 💔 On Mother’s Day - it’s even harder to think about my sweet Joey not being here. The pain is indescribable, and constant. I keep telling myself that the death of my son cannot cause me to die while living—I must find a way to live and keep moving forward. 💔🙏

I recently saw a video of a mother who lost two of her three children; her daily motto became “Get Up and Go,” even if it meant just going to the couch or mailbox. This resonates deeply with me. 💔🙏

Almost every day since Joey’s passing, I’ve had feelings and thoughts that I didn’t want to go on. But I KNOW God has a greater plan for me, and my story as a heartbroken mother losing her firstborn is not yet finished and is not my only story. 💔🙏

I have always said, “Don’t let my suits and heels fool you,” because there’s so much more to me than just what you see on the outside. God has truly had a hand in my life, and my story is deep and often complex—but I’m certain that’s the way God intended it to be. I am completely broken and won’t even try to act like I’m not. Joey leaving this world has left a pain within me that words will never be able to describe. 💔🙏

I have a beautiful son, Mason, who is my world, a wonderful husband of 28 years, Marty, and a family and community who love me. With their support and God’s guidance, I strive to “Get Up and Go” each day, hoping to find strength and purpose amidst the grief. 💔🙏

I am grateful for the friends who encouraged me to Get Up and Go on Friday and this weekend. It was the first time getting out into the community since Joey passed—and to be honest, it feels like it was all a blur when I woke up this morning. But I’m grateful to be able to serve, especially during a time of such grief and pain. 💔🙏

I am grateful for each person who has shown me such love and compassion over the last few weeks. Being a mother is the most precious role I will ever have. May I find the strength to Get Up and Go, one day at a time. 💔🙏
