When I saw the ‘faceless marketing’ & ‘digital courses’ trend kick off and fill my Instagram feed, I was reminded of the traumatic time spent as a ‘boss babe’…

I was 18, working a thankless job with not-so-great pay AND paying to go to college part-time without actually knowing what I was even going to major in. Truly a time…

It was during this time that I naively entered the world of shady marketing and catty group chats filled with some major mean girl energy.

There were some ‘boss babes’ sending screenshots of these girls’ profiles and MAKING FUN OF THEM but then being all sweet in their proposals: “you would be the perfect fit babes!!”.
O M G ??

I would like to point out that the boss babe that reached out to me actually ended up being a really nice girl and when I left the MLM behind, she still supported me in all of my endeavors (and still does)!
As for everyone else… not so much.

I think it’s a right of passage for social media managers. The girls who couldn’t get down with manipulative marketing ended up going a different route in the social media space and I’m here for it! 🍒✨🎀

realizing I’ll never be a mysterious girly because I love sharing🤭

Here are a few things I simply couldn’t live without because they’re quite literally life-changing 🤌🏼

✨ Dr.Pepper — not sure I really need to explain this one. it’s been a huge pregnancy craving of mine, too. Cans are better than bottle, iykyk

✨ Bizarre Coffee — my local girlies get it. the best local coffee shop owned by the best people

✨ Kindle — because a working mom needs hobbies and reading is one of the only ones I can make time for while still being present. need to put my book down quickly? Kindle saves my page for me. Need to read before bed? No need for a reading light. Want to take it on-the-go? She fits in my mini purse. HELLO? 10/10 recommend

✨ Pinterest — the best place to source inspo AND it’s part of a new service I’m offering ;)

✨ Kodak PixPro — the best little digital camera. I bought mine secondhand off Marketplace about a year ago and take it everywhere. it’s a solid cheapy camera. takes the best flash photos and the most nostalgic video. a lot of family memories have been filmed on this camera. my branding photos were taken with it, too ;)

✨ Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer — ya girl loves to bake and make as much from scratch as possible. I bake at least 3 times a week. I think I’m starting the whole pregnant nesting thing a bit early LOL

✨ Notion — she keeps me organized in my personal life and business. I have all client portals & content calendars through this life-saving platform

✨ Chobani Complete Protein Yogurt — specifically the banana flavor. when I get insanely busy, this is my go-to snack. 10/10 recommend. Oikos brand is good, too!

✨Elf Lip Oil — color is rose envy and she is GORG. only lip oil I wear and only $8

✨ Classic Barbie Movies — I have the ENTIRE collection of Barbie movies. I’ve been obsessed since I was a toddler. Nutcracker & 12 Dancing Princesses are probably my top 2, naturally, since I took dance lessons from the age of 3 to 18.
