Don’t forget the days you used to pray for what you have today.

There was a time when this life felt distant, when you asked God simply for a chance, an open door, and the strength to keep going, to keep applying.

What you’re carrying now, responsibility, pressure, fatigue, was once wrapped in hope and expectation.

It was once distant, and now you’re living it.

Gratitude has a way of re-centering the soul, reminding us that even when the weight is heavy, it is still a gift entrusted to us.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

— 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Remembering those prayers doesn’t make the hard days disappear, but it changes how we stand in them. It keeps us humble, steady, and grounded in gratitude.

When the challenges and frustration that sometimes comes with the job rises, pause and look back at where God has brought you from.

The same faith that carried you through those early prayers is still at work today, shaping you for what’s ahead.

And never forget, we get to do this.
