He is Black excellence! Chicago student Mario Hoover achieves first perfect ACT score in 42-year history of his high school, joining the less than 1% of students who achieve a perfect ACT score across the country. Mario attends Providence-St. Mel School, with a 3.9 GPA, taking four AP classes. He prepared for the ACT with a prep courseand got 29 on his first try. Hoover sings in the choir, volunteers at a hospital and the Boys and Girls Club, aiming to become a neurosurgeon one day. Follow us for everything Black Excellence & Positivity! 🌟

SHE DID IT—DEBT FREE! 🎓👏🏾On May 10, graduated from North Carolina A&T with a 4.0 GPA, no debt, and big dreams!
She completed the Accelerated Pathway to Law School, co-founded the Sisters in Christ Collective, and this fall, she’s off to William & Mary Law on a full ride—joining the 5% of Black lawyers in the U.S. 👩🏾‍⚖️💼💙
