It's been a year for sure, but I had to take a minute yesterday and go find some season changing colors before they disappeared. In the midst of my efforts to catch-up on a thousand things, I found some peace in the stillness of nature. The refreshing breeze wafting through the quakies while offering lungs full of fresh mountain air made a quick trip worth every second.

The changing seasons are definitely the slowest thing I capture through the lens all year, but Fall almost got past me.

Take a minute - breathe in the air - listen to the stream - Peace!

Cowboys, cowgirls, CFD Dandies & Colorado Steer Ropers - Please accept my apologies for the delay in getting pictures out. I've been on the road so much and my Mac decided it should require a factory re-set (thankfully no pics lost, but everything had to be reloaded and set-up) that I'm behind in getting your pictures shared and out to you. I'm back and I'll be doing a lot of sharing this week....

Also, BIG NEWS and a share coming this week: The Wyoming Lifestyle Magazine brand new blog is now live and it includes the first 3H Photography-Images From Nature blog as well as the first 3H Rodeo blog. It is a sad day for rodeo photographers as we just learned today that the Godfather of rodeo photography, Jerry Gustafson passed away on September 1st. He meant so much to so many, and captured so many thousands of memories for decades of cowboys & cowgirls. While I never had the opportunity to meet Jerry in person, I felt very fortunate to have received his endorsement of my work and trade many a message with him via social media. I grew up with his pictures in family & friends homes, and I absolutely loved his books and especially his social media posts of current pics as well as pics from the past. Rest in peace, sir, and thank you for paving the way for those of us following in your footsteps.
