One of the biggest mistakes I see across companies—especially in high-growth and private equity environments—is blaming HR when things start to break.
But here’s the reality:
If leaders aren’t making decisions,
If accountability isn’t being enforced,
If processes are inconsistent or constantly changing…
HR can’t fix that.
HR is there to support the business—not carry the weight of leadership gaps.
You don’t have a people problem.
You have a leadership problem.

Not every woman who inspires me has a title, a platform, or a seat in the boardroom, but many of them are the reason I’m sitting in mine.

They are the women who helped change my career not because they were the loudest in the room but they were the ones who made sure my voice was heard.

To the women who mentored me, challenged me, opened doors I didn’t know existed.....THANK YOU!

To the women sitting in male-dominated industries, sitting at tables where they have to constantly prove themselves just to be heard....KEEP GOING! Your voice matters.

To the women who lift other women up instead of competing with them, YOU ARE CHANGING THE GAME!

To those who are struggling right now, questioning themselves, or wondering where you belong in the room, YOU MATTER.

Progress doesn’t happen because a few women make it to the top. It happens when we reach back, speak up, and pull other forward.

Today is International Women’s Day and I’m grateful for the women who inspire me daily.

Strong women don’t just break glass ceilings - they hold the ladder for the next one climbing.

Thanks to all the strong women I’ve crossed paths with.

From the audience to the stage.

Four years ago, I sat in the crowd at this very conference, dreaming of what it would feel like to speak here one day. This year, that dream became reality.

I had the honor of joining an amazing panel of leaders, sharing insights on talent, hiring, and the journey it takes to build business.

It hasn’t always been easy.

There were plenty of moments when I questioned if I was doing enough, if I was good enough.

But every time I was close to giving up, someone reminded me of my worth, encouraged me to keep going, and helped me see that my voice does matter.

Not only did I get to speak at the conference, I was featured in a private equity publication on my perspective on talent acquisition.

✨If you’re chasing a dream, don’t give up. Stay ready. Keep showing up. Someone’s watching.

Someone sees your potential — even when you don’t.

This moment is proof: hard work, consistency, and believing in yourself (even when it’s hard) does pay off.
