Can you help Chicago Animal Control? 🐾

🐾 Our treat bins are running low again! 🐾

Treats are so much more than just a snack at CACC. They’re one of the most important tools our volunteers and staff use to build trust and positive connections with the animals in our care.

For a dog who may be nervous, unsure or overwhelmed by the shelter environment, a tasty treat can help turn a stranger into a friend. ❤️ They’re used every day for enrichment, training, rewarding positive behavior and helping our dogs feel more comfortable interacting with the people caring for them.

And our dogs aren’t picky! Any type of meaty dog treats... jerky, training treats, soft treats, meat-based bites and similar goodies can go a long way here.

Urban Air Lincoln Park is one of our favorite places to play! The kids love the variety of activities and parents can appreciate the available booths and tables where they can work (free wi-fi offered!) or chat with other parents. There’s also a cafe with drinks and snacks (check out the color-changing Icee cups!). We highly recommend adding it to your list or setting up your next playdate there!
