My new favourite Cookie Recipe! 🍪 To celebrate the Wonka film releasing in cinemas December 14, I'm sharing my Purple Velvet Cookie Recipe, for the full recipe see below: Ingredients: 125g unsalted butter 100g brown sugar 150g white sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp burgundy gel food colouring 300g plain flour 15g cocoa powder 6g baking powder 2g bicarb soda pinch salt 300g white choc chips cream cheese (for filling) Method: Mix, mix, mix! But don't overmix. Cream your butter and sugar, slowly adding dry ingredients and eggs to incorporate. Lastly, add the choc bits. Weigh dough balls to 130g per ball, placing 20g cream cheese in the centre. Wrap the cookie dough around the cream cheese and chill for at least 2 hours prior to baking. Bake for 12-16 minutes at 180 degrees fan forced. Cool before enjoying, cookies will continue to cook while cooling.
