Join us this Friday as we welcome the CEO & Co-Founder of , Kenzel Fallen, as the next guest on the Good Folks, Doing Good Work interview series.
Kenzel’s career has been focused on directing programs and teams across enterprise, operations and credit risk functions, spanning industries from banking to energy. In addition to her super powers in risk and risk management, she and her husband started the first and only solar-powered roastery in Houston, Texas. The name Three Keys, inspired by the three valves on a trumpet, is an ode to the influential jazz musicians that inspire Kenzel and her husband, Tio, who grew up playing the trumpet through college. They believe coffee is a multi-sensory experience and pair each coffee they release with a playlist directly correlated to the coffee. Due to their intentionality to connect music, coffee and design thoughtfully, they have won multiple awards for their packaging and their coffee.
While Kenzel’s professional experience outside of coffee may seem quite distant from the specialty coffee industry, I wholeheartedly believe our industry needs analytical thinkers equipped with business acumen. It was Kenzel’s unique background that initially sparked a conversation over LinkedIn between her and I (Luke). After a few messages back and forth about businesses, work backgrounds and, of course, design, I knew I needed to invite Kenzel to be a guest.
Would you join us in welcoming Kenzel Fallen of Three Keys Coffee as the next Good Folks guest this Friday at 12 noon CST for our IG Live interview?
