President Trump is openly talking about the U.S. possibly seizing Iran's Kharg Island โ the tiny island that handles nearly 90-95% of Iran's oil exports.
โMaybe we take Kharg Island, maybe we donโt. We have a lot of options.โ He also mentioned his preference to โtake the oil in Iranโ and warned that if no deal is reached soon and the Strait of Hormuz isnโt reopened, the U.S. could obliterate Iranโs electric plants, oil wells, and Kharg Island itself.
This comes as the Iran conflict drags on and gas prices keep climbing across the U.S. and Canada due to disrupted oil supplies.
