April 2019. One year after rupturing both quad tendons, I was still in physical therapy rebuilding my strength, balance and confidence.
This was a BIG moment for me. When you’ve been knocked all the way down, something that looks small to everybody else can feel like a damn VICTORY. 💪🏾
Seven years later, I know something I didn’t know then: sometimes you have to learn how to come back more than once.
This past year brought a different kind of loss. A different kind of rebuilding.
And I’ve learned a comeback doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it’s one step. One workout. One good day. One decision to keep moving.
Back then, the test was becoming the testimony. Maybe it still is.
If you’re rebuilding from something right now, what’s one small win that reminded you you’re still moving forward?
