Evolvingover50 Sharing Makeup, Skincare, Fashion, and Lifestyle tips for the ageless woman.

I own way too many beauty devices… but only a few actually get used. 😊

At 57, I’ve tried LED masks, microcurrent, lasers, hair-growth devices and plenty of tools that looked promising but ended up in a drawer.😉

In my new YouTube video, I’m sharing the ones I actually use, which I think are worth the money, and where I’d rather spend on an in-office treatment instead.🫶

I’m actually really good at keeping secrets… but this one was hard. 👀

You already know how much I love Medik8, so I’m very excited that it’s now exclusively at Sephora. 🎉

One of the reasons I keep coming back to the brand is the science behind the formulas. 🙌

Their Liquid Peptides Advanced uses smaller, targeted peptides designed to reach where they’re needed in the skin, while helping support firmer, smoother-looking skin.
And now you don’t have to hunt it down, you can shop Medik8 in Sephora stores or online at Sephora.

Have you tried Medik8 yet, or is it still on your list?

My husband thought I had my lips done. 😂

Nope… just this Pat McGrath Lip Sculpt + Shade Contour Duo in Divine Rose.

I mentioned it in my Sephora haul and so many of you asked me to share more. One end helps define and contour the lip line, while the other adds color, so together it gives my lips a fuller, more sculpted look.

And at 57, I’ll take all the definition I can get. 😉

The gray roots always seem to show up the second I have somewhere to be. 😂

This under-$30 ($12) staple has saved me more times than I can count. A few quick sprays, the grays are covered, it feels lightweight, and it actually stays put.

Would you use this between color appointments?

Follow along for more of my favorite Thursdays Under $30 beauty finds. 😊🎉

They took hair follicles from my scalp, created a personalized secretome from them… and then we used it during microneedling on my face AND scalp. 🤯

I had so many questions about this treatment, especially for mature skin and midlife hair thinning, so I documented the entire first appointment.

I’m sharing the full process, recovery, what it actually felt like, and why I decided to try it in my new YouTube video.

And yes, I’ll be sharing updates because I want to know if it actually makes a difference.

Should women over 50 be taking creatine? 👀

For years I thought creatine was mostly for men trying to build muscle. Turns out, there’s a lot more to it, especially as we get older.

I’ve added it to my routine, and the one I’m using was formulated by a doctor and menopause specialist. The biggest reason I’ll actually stick with it? No grit, no weird taste, and it completely dissolves in water.

I take mine around my workouts, but consistency matters more than the exact timing.

Want to know the exact one I’m using? Check it out here.

Maybe the best fall outfit is already in your closet. 🍂

I’m much more interested in restyling what I own before buying something new this season.

What are you shopping for fall or skipping completely?

At what age are we supposed to stop wearing strapless dresses? 🤔

My arms definitely don’t look like they used to. But I’m wearing the dress anyway. 😊

And while we’re at it… who decided women over 50 should stop wearing short skirts, bikinis, sleeveless tops, fitted dresses or anything else that shows a little skin?

I think midlife fashion gets a lot more fun when you stop dressing for a list of “rules” and start dressing for what makes you feel good.🫶

Will I wear everything I wore at 25? Probably not. But that has a lot more to do with personal style than age.

So yes, I’m still wearing the strapless dress. And I plan to keep breaking a few fashion rules along the way.

What’s one style “rule” you’re completely over?
