Seeker Thinker Dreamer Questions humanity has pondered for centuries. Meaning. Truth. Faith. Consciousness. The human journey. What do you believe?

Every night you enter a world that feels completely real — and every morning it vanishes. Freud said dreams are the royal road to the unconscious. Zhuangzi dreamed he was a butterfly and woke up unsure which was the dream. Now neuroscience says REM sleep is overnight therapy: your brain replays the day and drains the pain out of hard memories. So what are dreams — truth, memory, or illusion?

Four hundred years, one question: are we kind by nature or cruel by it? Hobbes said without laws we'd tear each other apart. Kropotkin went to Siberia, watched animals survive the worst winters on earth, and concluded cooperation is as much a law of nature as struggle. Disaster research keeps backing him up — crisis brings out helpers, not looters. Where do you land?

Before books, before writing, before cities — there was the campfire and the story. Harari argues shared stories are literally what let millions of strangers cooperate: money, nations, and laws are all fictions we agree to believe. So why are we so drawn to story? Because facts tell us what's true — stories tell us what it means.

Some wounds no court can close. After apartheid, South Africa tried something radical: truth in exchange for amnesty, confession in exchange for a future. Desmond Tutu believed forgiveness — real, costly, eyes-open forgiveness — is stronger than punishment. Do you agree? Full question in the video.

We usually imagine power belonging to presidents, CEOs and institutions.

But power exists in ordinary relationships too.

A parent.

Teacher.

Manager.

Customer.

Creator with an audience.

Someone holding another person’s trust.

Maybe the important question isn’t whether you have power.

It’s:

What happens to your character when you realize you do?

We often talk about how people should treat us.

Here’s the reverse question:

What does another human being deserve from me simply because they’re human?

Respect?

Honesty?

Fairness?

Compassion?

Maybe not everything.

But surely the answer isn’t nothing.

Human beings create laws.

But history contains laws we now recognize as terribly unjust.

Which means law and justice cannot always be identical.

So what sits above the law?

Human dignity?

Reason?

Nature?

God?

Conscience?

Where do you believe justice gets its authority?

Have you ever had an idea arrive so suddenly that you wondered:

“Where did THAT come from?”

Maybe the mind does more creative work behind the curtain than we realize.

And perhaps every once in a while…

the curtain opens.

Sometimes an apology becomes more meaningful when we stop at:

“I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

And add:

“But I understand that I did.”

Intentions matter.

Consequences matter.

Responsibility may begin when we’re willing to acknowledge both.

09/07/2026

Some things we procrastinate because they don’t matter.

Others we procrastinate precisely because they do.

They could expose us.

Challenge us.

Change us.

Maybe you don’t need another Monday.

Maybe you need the first imperfect step.
