I remember 3.5 years ago when I shared with some people in Clubhouse about my desire to live my dream of working for myself as an Voice Actor, that One person told me multiple times that AI would take all of the VoiceOver jobs!
Not true as I shared back then! Emotions and correct enunciation and variation in tones and voice sounds and qualities are still a big challenge for AI in various VO jobs!
I have booked 3 Radio Commercials and finishing up one Audiobook with another one waiting and I am now Certified to Write and Voice Audio Description content for the Blind and Low Vision and more audiences for screen productions (television, movie, museums) and more! It took a lot of time, effort, classes and money but I finally feel like I am where I dreamt of being in the VoiceOver spaces.
I still have more work to do with marketing and other things but, this year is starting off great and the blessings are on overflow! 🙏🏾. I am grateful on all levels! 💯❤️🙏🏾
Never let ANYONE tell you NOT to pursue your dreams! Age is just a number!
