We really ended Summer on a high note at The Horror House Shop ‘s Summer Market at Revolution Brewing !! It was great meeting faced old and new talking about the thing we love most- horror! The cherry on top was the many quick pet sketches I had the pleasure of doing. It’s always great to see the many cats, dogs, and even bunnies, that people own. Looking forward to the next market in late October!

Here’s the first few moments of Dead Scared’s other Fangtastic Friend Group, The Six Feet Undergrads! A Vampire, Witch, Gill Creature, Werewolf, and a Two-Headed Ghoul try and survive the monstrous challenges of college life. It’s a Saturday Morning Cartoon with a mature, gorey twist! In this episode, Desmond’s Half-Baked Birthday, celebrating a friend isn’t a piece of cake for the Undergrads.

This was created during the StoryboardArt | Storyboard Training mentorship and supervised by Steve Lee a while back. A fun exercise that will soon turn into a potential series!

Bat Conservation and Global Perception is Integral to Dead Scared’s Mission, so when an amazing film like is released, we’re there in support! It was an inspiring film that highlighted not only the benefits of bats globally, their resilience in times of detrimental struggle, and the communities that are fighting the good fight alongside them- but told a story of amazing women in science who are making a difference for us all. Night after night.

It also led to a discussion among the audience that turned ignorance into understanding and a shared appreciation for these impactful, small creatures. One of the joys of Dead Scared Entertainment is educating people about the benefits and importance of bats.

We can only hope more people are capable of seeing the film and become more inspired to be active in wildlife conservation. But, even something as simple as engaging with Bat Positive media like The Invisible Mammal and Vic and The Bat Pack, can make generational changes that benefit all life on this planet 🦇🌎🌱🦇

Where’s your manners?! It’s INTERNATIONAL BAT APPRECIATION DAY!! Puff can pull a decent Dangerfield Impression, but his real superpower lies in his giant appetite- eating hundreds upon hundreds of local insects each night! With bats making up 25% of the world’s mammals, we owe them a drink (of nectar) or two! From dispersing seeds and pollinating, to aiding in the pursuit for better medicines, bats are VITAL to the existence of all living organisms on this planet.

So what’s the big deal? Dead Scared Entertainment was founded on the principle of creating media that celebrates bats in a way that twists their present narrative and provides a fun new take! We’re here to make some Spooky Cool Changes and the fun is only getting started! More fascinating facts and wild antics from Vic and The Bat Pack will be coming to you soon!! 🦇👔

Happy 5th Anniversary to Dead Scared Entertainment!! Vic, Puff, and Stanley are just as excited as we are. Three bats with a hunger for adventure- what could they be getting themselves into? Tune in on Saturday, February 21st to find out in the next Vic and The Bat Pack Cartoon!!

As for the Anniversary, more to come throughout the day and the week! It’s like a second Halloween!!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all from Dead Scared Ent! We honor not only this timeless holiday, but our favorite, timeless film: Dracula!! 95 years ago, it came from the shadows of the cinema and have forever held a chokehold on horror fans, film freaks, and popular culture. With an unmistakable Gothic Vibe and The Immortal Performance of Béla Lugosi, the grip of this Classic remains.

Celebrate alongside us here at DSE with this illustration of the climatic ending of Dracula between him and Renfield, played by the forever memorable Dwight Frye. Some may argue this is the most frightening scene of this Universal Monster Classic, and we’d agree!
