✨ 10 Values I Run My Life By, That Bring Me Peace ✨

Just sharing a little bit of my heart today. These are the values I try to live by to keep my peace and protect my spirit:

1️⃣ Put God first, always.
2️⃣ Take care of myself first so I can truly show up for others.
3️⃣ Help others, but not beyond my comfort or well-being.
4️⃣ Love those who love me.
5️⃣ Pray for those who don’t.
6️⃣ Walk away from people and places that no longer serve me.
7️⃣ Prioritize my mental, physical, and spiritual health.
8️⃣ Don’t feel guilty for having boundaries.
9️⃣ Don’t carry other people’s insecurities.
🔟 Choose peace over drama, every single time.

Story time! ✨

So, a few days ago, I found myself in the heart of NYC, surrounded by some of the most brilliant Black women entrepreneurs you could imagine. Why? Because I was part of Cohort 6 of the Goldman Sachs *One Million Black Women, Black in Business* program! 😱💼

Picture this: walking into a room filled with energy, ambition, and shared purpose. The lectures? Intense. The connections? Unforgettable. The experience? Life-changing. Fast forward to graduation day, it hit me just how far I’ve come and how much further I’m ready to go. 🎓✨

Now, the real work begins. This isn’t just about what I’ve learned, it’s about taking all that knowledge, energy, and inspiration and putting it into action.

Stay tuned, because this is only the beginning of something amazing! 🚀
