her peace got louder than her pain did,
she stopped explainin’ herself, stopped sayin’ s**t that ain’t hit.
tired of beggin’ grown men to see her heart as a blessin’,
she learned every loss still came with a lesson.
he said, “you heartless now,” she laughed soft — “nah, just cautious now,”
she don’t chase closure, she block s**t and talk to god now.
peace cost her pride, but it paid her in silence,
now she move like prayer mixed with street violence.
love made her numb, but healing made her bolder, soft on the inside, cold on the shoulder.
she ain’t bitter, she just protectin’ her spirit,
you only feel her love if you real enough to hear it.
