Our first stop right off the plane: Raising Canes 🍗🍟🇺🇸

He’s been veryyy excited to try this American staple… and I HAD to show him the 22 oz sauce cup too 🤣🇺🇸 (which is not even the largest size they offer for sauce cups… 🤯)

Safe to say his mind was blown!! 🫨

We’re expecting 🥹

… to have a great time!!! 🤪

On our way to visit the U.S. ✈️🇺🇸

We’ll be there for 2 months and we have some big things in store - like celebrating our wedding with Ellie’s American friends and family! 👰🏻‍♀️💍

And of course we have a long list of classic American things (aka foods) for Senći to experience 🤣🍔

What moving to Bosnia taught me:

My personal motto and one of the reasons I fell in love with life here 🤲

Less overconsumption. More “ćejf” - savoring the little things and moments in life that bring *real* joy.

As an ~amerikanka~, THIS is why I love living in Bosnia 🥹🇺🇸➡️🇧🇦

Everything domace and local!! 🙌

The slower, more natural lifestyle and all the fresh foods here make for a much healthier life than back in the states! Not to mention the cities are much more walkable too 🥲🙏

But my favorite way to add natural vitamins in our diet is through local organic shops 🍯🧄🍵🌿 like our best friends’ family-owned small business here in Bugojno: “Organski Kutak”!

A day trip to the sea!! 🌊

Otišli smo na more na obdan 🚙⛱️

Packed up our little Mini with our beach chairs, towels, and sandwiches, and we hit the road! 🥹

(Oh and the argeta, paradajz, & hljeb 🤤 the most ELITE beach snack!! 🍅🐓🥖🥒)
