Peace: After long looking for ways to disengage myself from Spotify, recent terms of usage appear granting Spotify a governing license over Artists' material.

I as label owner, do not have the legal right to allow third party blanket permissions for licensing to be governed with full lack of advance disclosure to any artist on my label. Blanket permissions do not apply at Bang.

This gives me the legal right as a label owner to protect the rights of the body of work on my label from such terms that exist outside of standing agreement between myself, Artists, and Distribution.

LABEL OWNERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE

If you have distribution with certain distributors, an option exists to turn off distribution to Spotify per each release. I have also been given the option of having distribution scrub all of the releases from my label off of Spotify.

To all Artists of The B, this is a heads up that we as a label will be refusing distribution to Spotify immediately, and will no longer have material featured on Spotify entirely beginning Q4-2025
