Truman's own Michael Makonese has been named the NJCAA D1 Region 4 Player of the Year for his outstanding performance in men's soccer. The sophomore forward scored nine goals and tallied 14 assists while helping lead the Falcons to a 17-2-2 record and third consecutive Region 4 championship.
