Let’s take a ride on DEMON at Six Flags Great America!

This classic looper from Arrow Dynamics opened as TURN OF THE CENTURY back in 1976. It started with a few airtime hills, but later they were replaced with a few loops and a new theme. DEMON is still running 50 years later.

SAD NEWS: Two more beluga whales have passed away at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium. One of the whales that died just arrived at the aquarium as part of a rescue effort recently.

20 year-old Rain arrived at the Shedd a few weeks ago as part of a group of eight female whales that were rescued from a marine park in Canada that had been closed and nonoperational for nearly two years.

34 year-old Beethoven (pictured here) was part of the Shedd's resident beluga pod.

The Shedd says it's unclear at this time if the deaths are somehow related. They're conducting an investigation.

This comes a few days after the death of 23 year-old Peekachu, another beluga whale that was rescued from the same Canadian marine park. In a statement, the Shedd said:

"These losses are hard, made more difficult by the fact that it will take time to get concrete answers about what led to their passings. Necropsies, blood tests, and additional exams are underway to help better understand what happened. Some answers may come quickly, while others may take more time to come into focus. Given how closely the public has followed the rescue effort, Shedd felt it was important to share this news now rather than wait for every answer."

JUST IN: Feminist icon Gloria Steinem has passed away.

Steinem was a powerful voice for the women's movement in the United States back in the 1970s. She led protests, wrote essays, was a political organizer and the co-founder of Ms. Magazine, the first magazine owned and run entirely by women.

A post on social media said she passed away peacefully at her home in NYC surrounded by her loved ones.

Gloria Steinem was 92 years old. RIP.

DOLLYWOOD IS BUILDING A MEMORIAL WATERFALL in tribute to their Dreamer-In-Chief Dolly Parton, who passed away just over a week ago.

Today the park announced a few of the projects they are working on to honor Dolly's legacy. Pictured here, you see a "cascading mountainside waterfall" that will be just outside the steps of the Robert F. Thomas Chapel. The chapel is also getting new stained-glass windows to reflect one of Dolly's favorite Bible verses:

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." - Ecclesiastes 3:1

Also pictured here, you can see the Dream Wagon, which will be home to the new character The Dream Maker. They will encourage the kids in Wildwood Grove to dream big.

The new projects are expected to debut in March of 2027.
