💛💙 Truthful advice from professional organizers! Many (most?) papers don't need to be kept for more than a year or two. Sometimes we set up this filing system for recurring household papers, bills, etc, that we might need to reference again before they can be tossed.

In this photo, 2024 is in the back and 2025 in the front. In a few weeks, we'll toss the contents of the yellow folders and bring them up front, making room for 2026.
