Part Four! It took a minute to get this to yall - I’ve been busy. Now, remember I’m showing results of a campaign I ran back in September 2023. I discussed the campaign set up in Part One, Audience and Targeting in Part Two & Results in Part Three. I’m finishing up those results of this engagement campaign I ran. Here, you’ll see my CPM is $16.19. Let me give you reasons why:📊 Bidding Strategy was automated even though I only ran it for $5/day. I wanted to focus on page likes and nothing more and I accomplished that goal. 💻 Campaign Objective was engagement. Based on research, campaign objectives produce higher CPMs. Next go round, I’ll run this as an Awareness campaign because it will be more cost effective than an engagement campaign. ⏰ Timing. I ran this around Labor Day weekend. I knew folks wouldn’t be online like that anyway, however, I wanted to see run it anyway just to see what an engagement campaign would look like since I’ve never ran one before. What I will do next go round 👀 🧪 A/B Testing. There’s something called Dynamic Creative where Facebook takes multiple images, videos, text and combines them in new ways to improve campaign performance. Next go round, I’m definitely testing that option out! I’m going to need a bigger budget for sure! 👥 Audience Targeting. I already created a lookalike audience from this campaign. The next ad I run, I will use the audience from this campaign with the lookalike audience and see which ad performs the best based on that. ⏰ Time. I will let it run longer than 2 days. I’ll aim to have the next campaign run for 3 weeks to see what type of results I’ll yield. That’s it! #paidsocial #paidsocialstrategist #socialstrategist Paid Ads | Facebook Campaign | Social Strategist
Part Three: Results of My Engagement Campaign
Part Three!
Here I break down the beginning of the results of the campaign: CTR, CPC, CTR (all) & CPC (all).
The metrics I mentioned above are part of the top metrics to measure success when analyzing Facebook ads.
Experts say the median CPC for Facebook ads is $.40. My CPC for this particular campaign is $.27. A win is a win!
A fairly good CTR for any industry is .9%. My campaign hit .32%. Low but can get better. However, the benchmark for CTR (all) is 2-5%. My campaign hit 6%. Again, a win is a win!

Part Two: Engagement Campaign for my podcast
Part TWO!
Here, I’m showing you how I set up my audience targeting for my podcast page on Facebook.
It’s really simple:
🌎 Location
👥 Age
🎯 Detailed Targeting
Remember, I ran this ad for two days. 48 hours. That’s it!
Before I ran this ad, I created a buyer persona, a fictional person, who I wanted to reach when it comes to my podcast.
Come back for part three as I dive into my results.

5 Paid Social Strategies When It Comes to A/B Testing 📊📈📉
You don’t need to pay for everything:

“Budget-friendly” strategies can be just as potent as their premium counterparts. And today, I’m spilling the beans on the 5 paid social strategies that you can used to test when it comes to A/B Testing on Meta.
📝 Strategy 1: Ad Copy & Messaging - Perfect for practicing how to perfect your value proposition and if your messaging is working when running ads.
🎨 Strategy 2: Creative Assets - My go-to for this is creating eye-catching asset (image, video, etc.). If it’s a video, make it engaging and grab the attention of the viewer within .02 seconds of them coming across your ad.
🗣 Strategy 3: CTA (call-to-action) - Make it easy for people to take action on your ad. Tell people what you want them to do!
👥 Strategy 4: Audience Segmentation - Test out different types of audiences based on their behaviors, interests, etc. and see which segments respond better to specific ad content.
📱🖥 Strategy 5: Ad Placements & Devices - Test and see if what device your audience interacts with your ad more. Do they interact more on their mobile vs. their desktop?
Diving deep into these strategies will transform how you find your target audience and what is working and what’s not. Just goes to show, you don’t need to break the bank to break barriers.
Which tool are you most excited to try (or do you love)?
A) Ad Copy & Messaging
😎 Creative Assets
C) CTA (call-to-action)
D) Audience Segmentation
E) Ad Placements & Devices

How I Surpassed my goals for social
You’ll never believed what happened. 🙌🏾

So, January was on its way in, and I was thinking, “How am I going to increase my reach on IG & FB by 10%?” Breathe. I got this.
Remember when I started out? I was all over the place, chasing every strategy people were out here doing. Lesson learned? Working the strategy that I know works BEST for me and my content. Now, let me tailor a guide for you based on my results.
📌 1. Master Consistent Habits: Because sporadic efforts bring sporadic results.
📌 2. Reflect on Past Mistakes: Use them as fuel, not baggage.
📌 3. Implement One New Strategy Each Month: Change comes from action, not just intention.
Now, let’s be real. I got lucky 🤷🏾♀️ and the algorithm was being “nice” that day. However, I was consistent with posting. Most don’t do this; they wing it and wonder why Q1 flies by without much ticked off their list. Not us, not this year.
Which focus area speaks to you?
A) Building Consistent Habits
😎 Reflecting on Past Mistakes
C) Implementing New Strategies
Hope that captures the essence of what you’re looking for!
If you’re vibing with this, let me know in the comments below! Dive deep, get that direction, and let’s make Q1 truly count. 🚀
Best believe I got my Q2 goals planned already after these results. It’s only up from here!

Goals are planned! Have you done yours?!
Big or small, you've GOT to set goals. Here's why:

The dawn of a new year often brings new intentions and aspirations. But intentions without clear goals? Well, they remain just that — intentions. So, I've taken the liberty of setting some goals for you, my dedicated followers. Here's what I hope you'll achieve in the coming months:
1. Embrace Continuous Learning:
I can't stress this enough. The landscape of strategy is always changing. My goal for you is to commit to an hour of analyzing your data and refining your strategies for social.
2. Dive Deep into Self-reflection:
In my experience, the biggest growth in strategy comes from looking inward. I want you to truly understand what drives you, what scares you, and how you can leverage both.
3. Execute on One New Strategy:
You've been learning and reflecting; now, it's time to put that knowledge into practice. Trial and error is the name of the game, but every mistake is a stepping stone to success.
The problem many face is feeling overwhelmed with all the information out there. By focusing on these three key areas, you'll cut through the noise and build a solid foundation for the rest of the year.
Remember this: Your journey in strategy and targeting your audience isn't about perfection; it's about progress.
And these goals? They're all about setting you up for a year of undeniable progress. 📈
Which of these goals resonates with you the most?
A) Embracing Continuous Learning 📚
B) Deep Self-reflection 🧘
C) Executing New Strategies 🚀
[Feel free to change these to your own]
In the comments, share 1 goal you have this year. Save, share, and like if this resonates with you.

The Forgotten Step-by-Step to Finding Your Target Audience Yet Overlooked Process Here🧐
The Forgotten Step-by-Step to Finding Your Target Audience Yet Overlooked Process Here 🧐
@Magda Desir 👈🏾 follow + favorite
Isn't it wild how sometimes the most fundamental steps or processes get overshadowed by all the flashy, new techniques? Let's get back to basics.
Especially for those just dipping their toes in the social media world.
Here's a classic that might seem obvious to some, but trust me, many are missing out.
1. Start with the Importance of Audience Understanding:
Before diving in, understand your audience's demographics, psychographics, interests, behaviors, pain points, etc. It's about setting the stage for success.
2. Proceed to the Second Step e.g., Impact on Marketing Strategy:
Begin with the end in mind. Who is this message for? How am I solving their problem? Write it down.
3. Third Step e.g., Do your research & data analysis:
Dive deep into your audience's pain points. Even if it's a beginner's step, fresh insights never hurt.
4. Fourth Step e.g., Refine your Targeted Strategies:
Refine your targeting strategies as often as you can. Having a well-defined ideal customer persona can help when it comes time to refine your strategies. It can increase brand loyalty, higher conversions, improve ROI, etc.
I remember when I first started in social, I overlooked this and wished someone had reminded me.
So, for all the newcomers: take it step by step, don't rush, and enjoy the learning journey. 🌱
Food for thought: Sometimes, revisiting the basics can lead to the most profound insights.
Did you know about this step-by-step?
A) Yep, been there, done that! 😎
B) New to me, but super helpful! 🙌🏾

Hey there.
Sit down, take a deep breath, and brace yourself for this tip. Sometimes, the things we least want to hear are the nuggets of wisdom we need the most. Here's a dose of reality, tailored just for you:
1️⃣ Fact Bomb 1: Finding your target audience will take time, especially if you're trying to find your audience based on your business model, mentioned in this reel. There were moments in my own journey when I tried to dance around this fact, only to realize it was indispensable.
2️⃣ Fact Bomb 2: Everybody isn't your target audience. That includes your mama, daddy, your cousin, and your sister too!
Oh, the times I wished this wasn't true. Yet here we are.
3️⃣ Fact Bomb 3: Keep creating and testing out your message and content.
Ironically, it was working in FinTech that opened my eyes to this. Acquired and learned experience? Priceless.
Your progress, dreams, and goals? They're all valid. But to truly level up in your business, understanding this challenging truth is non-negotiable. Remember, growth often stems from discomfort.
Which reality hit hardest today?
A) Finding your target audience will take time.
B) Everybody isn't your target audience.
C) Keep creating and testing out your message and content.
