This week, the bad news for the Chicago Bears defense got worse.

According to Ben Johnson, Coby Bryant, who was supposedly only sidelined for two months at most, had surgery and will miss the majority of the season.
Bryant will miss most, if not all, of the regular season, Johnson informed reporters on Tuesday.

Instead of eight to ten weeks, Bryant will be gone for four to six months following surgery.

CPD's homicide investigation support team arrested Ankur Patel, 31, at O'Hare at approximately 11:10 a.m. on charges of first-degree murder. He is charged with killing a 32-year-old woman by stabbing her in the 4800 block of North Avers.

According to Chicago police, two people were shot many times on Monday nite as they were exiting a gas station on the South Side.

According to police, the incident took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. near the 200-block of West Pershing Road in the Fuller Park area. Three suspects in a silver Nissan vehicle approached a 25-year-old male and a 22-year-old woman as they were leaving a Mobil gas station, according to police.

Before driving off east in their automobile, the suspects allegedly pulled out fi****ms and fired shots, according to the police.

According to authorities, the woman had six gunshot wounds on her body and the man had twelve.
